I'm sure that Adam and I will be saying this from here on out, but this was the "Best Christmas Ever"!
Of course Marley didn't completely "get" Christmas, but she was definitely all into Santa, presents, the tree, lights and "Olaf's" (aka snowmen).
We got very lucky this year and Adam was home for Christmas! The Saturday before Marley and I went to Waco and Adam joined us on Sunday. We celebrated Christmas Eve Eve with my dad and then Christmas Eve with my mom. We made it to my childhood church's candlelight service and Marley did really well. Besides her singing...loudly, clapping...after everyone else and her "oh pretty" at the candles; I'd say she did really well!
Christmas morning we traveled to East Texas to celebrate Christmas lunch at Grandmother and Grandaddy Cain's and then with Adam's mom that night. The next day we celebrated with PawPaw Kraig and Grammy Carol where Marley, daddy and Pawpaw built a playhouse out of a giant cardboard box.
When we got home Santa had already come and left Marley a pretty pink table and chairs and she opened her Disney Princess Little People Castle from mommy and daddy.
We truly had the greatest time watch Christmas unfold through Marley's eyes and we can't wait for next year and all the excitement and wonder it has to hold!
