valentine's...

 This year we celebrated Valentine's a day early because Adam had to leave on Valentine's to go to work.  Our Valentine's celebration coincided with the Super Bowl so we decided to have a 3 person party ourselves!  We of course had Marley's annual scavenger hunt and then went to church together.  After church we enjoyed lunch at La Fiesta and then ended the evening with our 3 person Super Bowl Party!

This year I was FINALLY able to attend one of Marley's class parties!  I was so excited and if you're a fellow "teacher-mom" you know how special this is!

daddy-daughter dance...

 Two weeks ago Marley and Adam went to Robinson ISD's Daddy-Daughter Dance!  The went with their usual crew- the McCalls, the Hughes and the Hockadays.  The dads took the girls to Luigi's, a local Italian place, and then to the dance where I'm pretty sure the girls did everything but dance!
I absolutely love this tradition and hope it continues long after they are too old to attend the official dance.
