#eatpraymagnolia...

Living in Dallas has brought so many great things for Adam and I and one of those has been our church family.  We have a wonderful Life Group that we meet with every other weekend and have come super close with.  It's nice when you are away from family to have a supportive group of Christian couples to lean on, pray with and support.  The women in my life group decided we needed a weekend and settled on Waco, or most importantly, Magnolia!  We drove down Friday morning a week before Easter and stayed until Sunday.  I'm pretty sure we just ate our way through Waco, but I have to say the food didn't disappoint!  We started out at Magnolia market and then shopped, and ate our way, through the west of the weekend!
We all decided that we wanted to move to Austin Avenue and get a "house-behind-the-house" so we just need to convince our husbands.
Friday night we found ourselves at Wal-Mart digging through the $5 movie bin and stocking up on candy and popcorn to eat while we watched "You've Got Mail"!  (Gotta love a good rom-com dug from the depths of the Wal-Mart movie pit!)  And you can take a girl out of the city and away from 45 Target's in a 5-minute drive, but she will still visit the SAME Target in the small town TWICE in one day! ;)
I LOVED getting to know more about these ladies and laughing, and crying, through a wonderful weekend!
Carmen, Loren, Merinda and Chris...I LOVE you!

Carmen wanted a picture with the Austin Avenue gorilla and I was all in!

Harp Design Company store...or a tribute to me?  I'm going with the later!

We finally settled on lunch of Pokey O's at Baylor!

easter 2017...

For our first time in our married life we were able to attend our own church for Easter!  We definitely missed being with our families, but with a short turn around between trips for Adam we decided to spend it as a family in our home church, Life Point.  Our church has definitely become one of our favorite parts of living here and we were glad to not only attend for this wonderful occasion but to share it with our small group family.
She cried all the way to see the bunny because she was, "afraid of his shoes"!

Dying eggs with Aunt Lauren, Ranger and Grammy!

Easter lunch picnic at our favorite spot!
