that's a wrap DFW...

It's not good-bye...but see ya later DFW!
The past 12 years...almost to the day...have been nothing but life-changing for Adam and I.
We moved here in June 2006 and knew no one!  We came knowing this was the place we needed to be for Adam's career and everything has seemed to fall into place since then.  He very quickly got a job with Zebra Air where we made some of our very best friends that we might as well call family.  The same was for me as well.  I began my career with Plano ISD at Gulledge Elementary in 3rd grade where I met some of the most amazing women that will forever be in my life and have helped me become a better person, teacher and friend.  We bought 2 houses in Dallas and had our beautiful baby girl here...we will forever be indebted to Dallas and how it has changed our lives.
We will not be saying good-bye...just see you later!

The most amazing women I know!

last day...

Today is the "last day" of many things.  The last day of school for both Marley and I.  The last day of Ms. Rhonda's house for Marley where she has gone since she as 12 weeks old.  To Ms. Rhonda, Ms. Zina an Ms. Jean...we love you!  We owe everything to you.  We knew the minute we met that you were the perfect ones to help us raise our beautiful baby girl.  You have loved her endlessly and helped us to be better parents.  This most certainly is not "good-bye", yet "see you later".

Today was my last day as a teacher for Plano ISD.  I started here 12 years ago at Gulledge Elementary in 3rd grade where I worked under the most amazing principal, Renee Rucker and with the most amazing women who have become my very best friends.  I went on to teach 4th grade, team lead 3rd grade and then this past year moved to Jackson Elementary as an Instructional Specialist.  Even though I was only at Jackson for 1 year I again know that I left today with life-long friends.

this is five...
