This year Marley got to go to Pine Cover Towers Camp with her very best friend, Addie. They have been counting down the days since last summer! I cannot say enough great things about their experience! They had an absolute blast! Marley did not stop talking the entire 2 1/2 hour drive home! When I dropped her off I got to help make her bed and set her things up and the camp is gorgeous! I'm pretty sure Marley felt comfortable because she said it looked just like the surroundings at Gran's house.
We had put $30 on her camp account for snacks. I left Sunday about 4pm and by 9am on Monday she had $3 left in her account...I guess we need to discuss budgeting better! We could send 2 letters and then she could send 2 to us as well. The first letter she sent definitely told us she was having a blast...letter 2 told us that she couldn't be bothered with us! (I guess that's what you want as a parent!)
I am so thankful to all the counselors and how they poured into our children spiritually all week. She came back with so much practical knowledge for how God is "Really" in her life.
Needless to say Addie and Marley are already registered for next year!
