Five Months...

Thursday, October 24, 2013 Marley turned 5 months old!  She weighs 13lbs. and is 25in. long. 

Her newest thing is to roll…EVERYWHERE!  Unfortunately, this causes us to lose a little sleep because she is constantly rolling into the side of the crib!  (I have come to the conclusion in the past 5 months that sleep is indeed overrated.)

Adam and I are loving this age!  She is always smiling and “talking”.  She is definitely a people watcher like her mommy!  Everywhere we go she is just completely mesmerized by everything going on around her.  

We’re ready to see what 6 months has to hold…

Baylor Homecoming Parade 2013

Every year growing up I always watched the Baylor Homecoming Parade with my parents.  Well, this was one tradition I couldn’t wait to continue with Marley.

Unfortunately, Adam had to work so Friday I made my first solo trip to Waco with Marley in tow.  Thanks to the ipad and the Scooby Doo Pirate movie Adam downloaded (I requested Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and he choose a scary pirate Scooby Doo, but whatever!) we made it with no issues!

Saturday morning we got up early and braved the COLD weather to watch the parade.  Marley LOVED it!  She did great the entire parade!

I can’t wait until next year when she understands a little more what is going on!

 

Pumpkin Village

Today PawPaw Kraig and Grammy Carol came down and took us to Pumpkin Village at the Dallas Arboretum.  I have always wanted to go and this year with Marley it was just perfect!  She was so busy watching all the kids running around and staring at all the pumpkins.  She was absolutely perfectly behaved! 

I couldn’t have been prouder!

I can’t wait to make this a yearly tradition!
