beso live...

 This weekend I was able to see the Lord work in so many people's lives...including my own.  Our church held a Becoming Something Podcast Live event called, BESO.  There were 20-30 somethings that came from 47 states and Canada just to attend our church!  I worked as a volunteer on Friday and Saturday hosting.  The joy on these young lives as they experienced fellowship, worship and hospitality at our church was soul filling!  The food was endless, the praise was amazing and the worship was fulfilling!  I absolutely cannot wait to help out again next year!

wings over cowtown...

 Who doesn't love a good airshow?  Last weekend we went to an airshow at the Joint Reserve Base in Ft. Worth called Wings Over Cowtown.  We had so much fun!  The weather was perfect!  We enjoyed our 3 corndogs for $45 dollars, 2 lemonades for $20 and all the cool planes!  We got to see the Blue Angels and even one of Adam's pilot friends who is also a stunt pilot on the side!  I love the look of joy and suprise on Marley's face!  These are the moments you live for as a parent.

total solar eclipse...

 On April 8 we were lucky to be in the path of totality for a solar eclipse!  It truly is a once in a lifetime experience!  Schools were closed for the day, hotels were sold out and Waco was brimming with people from all over the world to experience it!  Adam was out of town so Marley and I went to watch it with Randall, Ryan, Ranger and Brice.  Pictures do not do it justice!  We had totality for a little over 4 minutes.  It was so strange how in the middle of the afternoon it went from sunny to pitch dark in a matter of about an hour.  Birds quit flying, crickets started chirping and the town was eerily quiet.  It's definitely an experience we will never forget and I am so glad a memory we will share!
