This past weekend we had our first family vacation to Jamaica Beach in Galveston. We rented a house with my parents, my sister and her family and Adam's dad even joined!
I have to say that Marley's reaction to seeing the ocean for the first time was priceless! She literally squealed with delight! We were a little concerned as to how she would handle the sand, being that she HATES to be "dirty".
She wasn't phased to say the least! Once again she proved to use she has no fear. She ran out into the waves, "surfed" (aka boogie boarded) with daddy and Uncle Randall and was even convinced that she could stand up and do it.
She was a trooper on the 6+ hour car trip (thanks to Grammy sitting with her in the backseat)! On the way home we even stopped by and visited my Uncle Ricky and Aunt Jojo whom we hadn't seen since our wedding over 10 years ago!
I absolutely LOVED seeing her experience this and can't wait for many more family vacations to come! We will definitely be coming back to the beach soon!
