This year was definitely a fun Easter. Marley is finally starting to get it and understand. I love hearing her talk about Jesus and how he makes the rain and even "put the noses on our faces".

This year she was slightly hesitant about the Easter bunny so she wouldn't sit in his lap, but she was okay sitting beside him....whatever.
We went to Waco for Easter and started the weekend out by going to the zoo with Aunt Alex and cousins Madrid and Margie. We had so much fun! I LOVE seeing Marley and Madrid playing together.
They are definitely two peas in a pod!
It was also my dads birthday on Saturday so luckily we got to eat dinner with him to celebrate. Marley greeted him with, "Happy Birthday Grandpa! I don't like cake, okay."
On Sunday we went to my family church and then to Aunt Lauren and Uncle Randall's new house for lunch. Marley hunted eggs in the front yard and didn't quite get it. She would pick up an egg, see another one across the yard, drop that one and get a new one. We finally convinced her that all the eggs were her's to put in her basket.
Since she doesn't eat sweets it was a little interesting trying to figure out what to put in her eggs. She had play-doh, goldfish and coins. She definitely liked the coins and couldn't wait to put them in her bank when we got home.
