halloween 2015...

Marley could not wait for "Trick or Treating" this year.  We started out going to be Elsa from Frozen and then ended up being a pig...she made a much cuter pig!

We absolutely have the best neighbors and friends, and this year Katty and Percy invited us to their house for a Halloween party with the rest of the neighborhood.  We absolutely had a blast and Marley loved playing with all the kids.  Percy cooked some amazing fajitas and we really enjoyed meeting lots of new people in the neighborhood.

How many takes do you need to get a group shot of tiny Trick-or-Treaters?

"I'm done! I'm done!"

The whole time we were trick-or-treating all she wanted was pizza!

Nati and Marley

We went as a group, LARGE group, Trick-or-Treating.  As we walked up to the first house Marley was so excited...until they opened the door.  Marley immediately turned around and started hollering, "I'm done!  I'm done! I don't like Trick-or-Treating".  Poor thing...I really think she was just overwhelmed by all the people.
As we continued around the neighborhood, and although she would still not go to the doors, she would take candy from those that were sitting in their driveways.
One of her favorite little boys from daycare, Nate, lives in our neighborhood.  We ran into him and his family and Marley so graciously gave Nate all her candy out of her bucket...such a sweet heart...good thing since she wouldn't have eaten it anyway.
Next year will definitely be interesting.

Preston Trail Farms Pumpkin Patch 2015...

This year Adam was out of town for training, but Grammy went with us to the Preston Trail Farms Pumpkin Patch.  We had a blast to say the least.  Marley thoroughly enjoyed herself and the pumpkin patch while mom and I were entertained by Marley herself...she never disappoints!
We were excited to run into our friends Betsy, Eric and Callie!  Marley loves talking about "baby Callie"!

We checked out the tractor first and Marley loved "driving" it "like Pops".

Next we went on the hayride.

We then headed over to feed the goats and cows.  Marley of course had no fear and loved feeding them from her hand.  She was "talking" to one of the goats nose to nose when all of the sudden he sneezed right in her face!  I mean snot was all over her face and in her hair!  She looked up at mom and I with this look like "how dare he!" and then immediately turned and spit in the goats face!  Mom and I lost it!  I mean, how can you not laugh and I certainly can't get on to her since the goat did just snot all over her!

Next we rode the barrel train.  Let me tell you...as an adult there couldn't be anything much more uncomfortable!  You are literally straddled a 2x4 in a barrel.  Needless to say Marley kicked back and got comfortable...literally!

To end our pumpkin patch trip we ate our free hot dogs, picked out some pumpkins and headed home!
I can't wait for Ranger to join us next year!
