kiddieland...

If you grew up in Waco in the 80's you had a birthday party at Kiddieland.  From the train, to the boat ride, super-slide and lion water fountain...it was a little kids dream.  I couldn't wait to take Marley!  The Train is brand new, the lion water fountain is gone, and the park seems much smaller now, but the iconic "I 💜 Kiddieland" shirts and the train tunnel were still very much the same.  This time we just rode the train, but we will definitely be back for more soon!

 

4th. on the Brazos...

One of Adam's favorite things to do is to wakeboard on the Brazos River in Waco.  (Even our first date was doing this very thing; followed by dinner at Sonic...I know ladies...get jealous!)  We hadn't been since Marley was born so we thought the 4th was a perfect time to return with her.  I was positive Adam's dreams were crushed just a little when Marley cried and begged to go back to Grammy's house the first 20 minutes.  Fortunately, she finally warmed up to the idea of the boat and ended up having a blast.  We wakeboarded, swam and even hopped out to catch dinner from the local food trucks.  We had so much fun with our friends Shawn, Candy and Lilli and even ended the night watching the fireworks from the boat.
