On April 8 we were lucky to be in the path of totality for a solar eclipse! It truly is a once in a lifetime experience! Schools were closed for the day, hotels were sold out and Waco was brimming with people from all over the world to experience it! Adam was out of town so Marley and I went to watch it with Randall, Ryan, Ranger and Brice. Pictures do not do it justice! We had totality for a little over 4 minutes. It was so strange how in the middle of the afternoon it went from sunny to pitch dark in a matter of about an hour. Birds quit flying, crickets started chirping and the town was eerily quiet. It's definitely an experience we will never forget and I am so glad a memory we will share!
