How did we get here? Adam and I could not be more proud of the young woman Marley is growing into. She is calm, compassionate, empathetic, funny and beautiful to top it off! Marley, you will do amazing things and we are so proud we are along for the ride!
I cannot believe we are here, but I attended my last Gulledge Elementary Senior Reunion. My 12 years at Gulledge were filled with greatest joys and a few tears. I am so proud of all my gator babies, but it is definitely a little bittersweet to think this was the last time I will probably ever set foot in that school. I know this group of kids will do amazing things!
We are beyond proud of Marley & how she has thrived in Junior High this year! She has stayed true to herself, confident in who she is, and open to try new things. She ended the year with A Honor Roll, UIL 2nd Place and the Collaboration Award. The Collaboration Award was only award to one 7th or 8th grader and had to be agreed on by the teachers. What an honor!
I was so honored to be picked by Derrick Medlock for the RHS 2026 Celebration of Stars! The top 25 seniors choose a teacher that has made the biggest impact on them. A few weeks ago we got the big reveal, and to say I was shocked is an understatement! That class was so full of amazing students, so I had no idea who it could possibly be! I was thrilled that it was Derrick! Derrick has an amazing future ahead of him and I could not be more excited to have a front row seat to it! Thank you, Derrick, for such an amazing honor I don't take lightly!
