This
Christmas was very bitter sweet. It is
weird to think that this is our last Christmas without a child. Although…you would NEVER know there wasn’t
already a baby here! How can someone who
isn’t even here yet get more than we did?!
It was almost comical, and I’m sure a sign of things to come.
Of course
Adam and I couldn’t wait until Christmas to exchange gifts so somewhere around
the first week of December we gave each other our gifts. After 8 long years I finally received….my
KITCHENAID MIXER!
We spent
Christmas Eve with my family. Someone in
our family definitely wants another Baylor Bear! It was funny the amount of Baylor stuff
considering neither of us graduated from there!
On Christmas
morning we got up early and drove to east Texas to see Adam’s family. Again we received a ton of baby stuff. (Don’t get me wrong…I’m not
complaining!) His grandmother even
bought our stroller and car seat! We are
so excited!
Then to top
it off we drove home in a wintery wonderland!
It sure made the long drive a lot more beautiful!
We can’t
wait to see what the next Christmas has to hold.
