My first official Mother’s Day…
I can’t believe I’m actually a “part” of Mother’s Day.

It kind of feels really weird. I know it sounds crazy, but I forget I’m a
mom. I am very aware Marley is my
daughter, but I forget that makes me “the mom”.
Adam is still gone for training, but he still sent me a
beautiful bouquet of roses and a really sweet card. I know it’s just as hard on him to be gone as
it is me to be here by myself.

Luckily my mom came down again this weekend because Saturday
night we had Marley’s first birthday pictures.
(I can’t wait to see them!)
Then on Sunday mom, Marley and I went to La Madeline for
lunch. I am really loving spending today
with my beautiful baby girl!
