This year I was so fortunate to have the whole week off for Thanksgiving! Originally Adam was supposed to be on a trip all week, but things changed and he was able to go with us to visit his family in Carthage the first weekend, and then spend 3 days in Waco with my family.
To say things were "eventful" this past week is quite the understatement! The first day we were in Waco my dad caught someone stealing from one of his rent houses and then the last day a car drove off the road and plowed through my parents fence and trees narrowly missing the garages!
In the meantime, Marley even got to enjoy her first slumber party with Uncle Randall and Aunt Lauren...check out my next post!
We visited cousins, Great-Grandpa Nix and cheered on our Bears! Sic'em!
I am so thankful for a wonderful family, a beautiful, healthy daughter and the great jobs Adam and I both have that allow us to do the things we want to in life!
