baptists at a bat mitzvah...

There have probably never been baptists so excited to attend a bat mitzvah...until Sunday before last.
One of the sweetest families, with the dearest of little girls that we have had the pleasure of becoming a part of our lives, happen to be Jewish.  I taught their daughters in elementary school and they are now both Marley's babysitters.  In fact, they were the first "non family" babysitters she ever had.
There is no one else I would have left her with.
The Hill family has taken us in as family here in Dallas.  I cannot think of a sweeter, more caring family.  Adam and I sincerely pray daily that Marley would turn out even half as wonderfully as Jojo and Gigi.  They have welcomed Marley into their home for Hanukkah for the past two years (and hopefully for years to come).  This year she apparently even channeled her inner Hebrew and said their prayers with them...in "Hebrew"!
We were absolutely thrilled when we got our invitation to Gillian's Bat Mitzvah!  Marley was so excited to put on her "pretty dress" and "sparkly" shoes!  We really loved the service at the Temple and then enjoyed every moment of the party at Reunion Tower.  Marley immediately kicked off her shoes and danced the night away with all the other teenagers...even entertaining the DJ.
This is a family that we are proud to be "members" of and cannot wait to see what great things are in store for Jojo and Gigi.
Party Ready!
