easter...

Easter has always been one of my favorite times of the year.  I love the weather, the flowers, the fun dresses, church services and the time with family.

I was lucky enough to go to her last school Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday.  This is just another reason I LOVE our school district!

Unfortunately, Adam was out of town for Easter but we joined the McCalls for Good Friday Service. Marley and I love to go to Good Friday service at our church.  We both agree that it is one of our favorites along with Christmas Eve. This year Marley was able to partake in the Lord's Supper for the first time.  I tried my best to explain the significance and meaning, but I'm not sure she totally got it considering she wanted to take 3 cups and told Adam she got to "drink the punch" at church.

(We'll work on that!)

Then on Saturday we dyed eggs with Aunt Lauren, Grammy, Ranger and Brice and took Bluebonnet pictures.  We even made Empty Tomb Rolls for breakfast and they turned out great! Our neighborhood held their 2nd Annual "Hunt"on Estates Egg Hunt and it had a huge turnout!  It was a lot of fun.

On Sunday we went to church and enjoyed another amazing service and then hosted the family to our home for lunch and an egg hunt.
